Brent Gordon & Dave Wilson
Dave Wilson is a well-regarded jazz guitarist who recently moved to the Vail Valley from the CT/NY area in 2014, and specializes in jazz gigs. He started playing guitar at the age of 9, and by high school was part of a highly successful high school jazz ensemble that won many jazz band competitions including those hosted by the Berklee School of Music in Boston. In 1972, he was part of a high school jazz ensemble that toured Europe and played at the renowned Montreux International Jazz Festival in Montreux, Switzerland. During that same year Dave had several TV appearances on both major TV networks and Public TV stations.
After a hiatus of several decades, Dave resumed his studies in 2003 with the late great legendary guitarist Joe Beck (5 Grammys/Gold Record and 1,000 + albums with numerous artists) including several recording sessions with Joe until his unfortunate passing in late July, 2008. Dave performed in and around Fairfield County, CT and is now performing in the Vail area.
